1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by the browser. The site also uses local and session storage, which can retain preferences or technical data on the device without necessarily using a cookie.
External services may use their own cookies or identifiers when loaded. Brunu Travel blocks analytics, advertising and affiliate widgets until a valid choice has been made for the relevant category.
2. Categories used
Strictly necessary
These retain the consent choice, deliver the site, load public trip data and maintain essential functions. They are always active.
Preferences
These retain theme and interface choices and allow optional content such as YouTube or scheduling embeds to load. They are off by default.
Analytics
Google Analytics measures audience and aggregated site use. It loads only after consent.
Marketing
This includes Google Ads conversion measurement and Travelpayouts affiliate widgets. It loads only after consent.
3. Technologies used by the site
The site uses local storage only for practical functions, such as retaining the consent choice, temporarily caching public content and saving interface preferences when authorised.
- Essential operation: the cookie choice, temporary copies of the catalogue or site messages, and a random identifier used to prevent repeat interest records for the same trip may remain in the browser until updated or cleared.
- Preferences: theme, language and player state are stored only when this category is allowed and remain until changed or cleared.
- Analytics: after consent, Google Analytics may use the
_gaand_ga_<ID>cookies, with a default duration of up to 2 years that may be limited by the browser.
Optional technologies are not loaded before the relevant permission is given.
4. External services
When authorised, or when required for an action requested by the user, third-party services may load:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: may set additional measurement cookies depending on configuration and interaction. See Google Analytics cookie documentation and Google's cookie policy.
- YouTube: loads only when preferences allow it and the user uses the player. Identifiers may vary by login state and Google settings.
- Tally: the external form loads for registrations, trip interest records, contact requests, suggestions and updates subscriptions when the user starts that action. Tally states that it uses essential cookies; see its cookie policy.
- Cal.com/Cal.eu: loads when a meeting is requested and preferences allow it. See its privacy policy.
- Travelpayouts: affiliate widgets and scripts remain blocked until marketing consent is given. See its cookie policy.
The exact names and lifetimes set by an external service may vary with the content loaded and the provider's configuration. We therefore do not assign names or durations that have not been confirmed in the implementation or official documentation.
5. Managing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time using “Manage Cookies” in the footer. Refusal does not prevent access to essential functions.
You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Doing so will prompt the site to ask for your preferences again and may remove choices such as the theme.
When a category is withdrawn, the site communicates the refusal to Google, removes recognised Google cookies it is able to delete and reloads the page to prevent new optional loads. Some third-party cookies can only be deleted through the browser or provider settings.
